It’s not about gaming... IP rights for digital only future. Makes perfect sense.
Dan Houser...
I enjoyed the game, but I wish more reviewers would have said the game plays and feels a lot like Dark Siders!
Awesome!
The PC version of this game is still the horrid beast it was when Madden was on the PC way back when. Played it, hated it.
The show was a showcase of third party trailers that could not fit into Sony's press conference. I have never seen developers talk about their games in a depressed manner. Sony and Nintendo will own E3 this year.
I think Patcher is losing his mojo. I get his old brick and mortar stance that game companies need games and shelf space to sell. However, can he explain why companies are pressing less discs and embracing digital. With stream becoming the norm for Gen X and Millenniums, I don't see the disc as a selling point anymore. I see all three companies eventually going that way, and I think it's coming sooner than later.
I wish people would go into this type of uproar over politics, net neutrality, health care... ect ect....
2 years....
I'm in the same boat, been a gamer since 85. I have a 4K 55 inch HDR TV, and my buddy and I can't really tell the difference on a PRO and a regular PS4. Most people cannot or cannot tell the difference until there you see some font, LOL. That's about it, but people will claim one is better than the other to justify their purchase. The new Xbox sparked some interest, however I cannot spend my hard earned cash knowing that this generation is ending in about two years.
No, they hit a gold mine. I think its awesome when a soon to be four year old game is still killing it chart wise. More power to them. I wish I could have had a single player dlc, but Red Dead is dropping soon....
Kill it, no, more like set it back. All they have to do is bring Shep back....
It's really never been about graphics to me, not this gen, when both consoles pretty much are the same minus a few things. SONY, in my opinion, has always been games first. XBOX is about a service, that they rather push than games. It's going to be hard to convince the general gamer or consumer to pick up a new XBOX when SONY has a stronghold in a market with pretty much the same games. You also need to factor in that XBOX games are dropping on the PC...
I don’t see how the new X Box is going to change the whole scene considering their games, exclusives, are looking rather dull at the moment.
I think it will sell about 30 to 40 million. The reason they are downplaying it, stock holders.
Simple math.... 60 mill plus
Same here...
At this point, Rockstar is developing GTA VI and getting Red Dead II ready for release. I wish they would do another Midnight Club.....
Bring back Sheppard....
The reality, it's all about how much money people have spent on a particular ecosystem. If you go by the number of consoles sold world wide, PlayStation wins. That is SONY's key advantage when the next gen systems are released. Also, with the current state of the economy, the cheapest unit wins out. Either way, excited to play both systems.
